Area Security Operations Center - Operator ServicesDescription of Job- ASOC operators will be responsible for dispatching and alarm monitoring for
multiple data centers across this area (Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska). Alarms will
be tracked and mitigated by communicating with local dispatchers at the
applicable data centers. ASOC operators will assist with camera audits, to
ensure all cameras are functional, and will submit tickets for repairs as needed.
ASOC operations may also assist with internal investigations, to include CCTV
reviews, badge journal audits, and incident report writing.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and dispatch alarms within the dedicated metro or geographic area
- Monitor multiple security access control systems to aid in the safety and security
of persons and properties
- Detect unfavorable security situations, dispatch appropriate personnel to
address, and make proper notifications to the appropriate level of management
- Monitor and acknowledge all activated alarms, dispatch security officers when
needed while meeting the performance criteria
- Monitor, review and acknowledge all site intrusion detection alarms
- Monitor camera and perform quarterly audits of video archives
- Submit maintenance tickets for security-system-related issues
- Responsible for supporting all Operational Assessment tasks
- Updated internal systems and log daily activity
- Complete access requests
- Intervene and support any badge corrections
- Review video for self-reports
Requirements- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency; proficiency with Microsoft Office
and/or Google Applications
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to multitask and discern patterns in detail
- Must possess all of the following:
- 3 years customer service experience (REQUIRED)
- 3 years of data entry experience (REQUIRED)
- 1 year dispatching or telecommunications experience (REQUIRED)
